Matt Myron gained 23 points and A.J. Sousa scored 21 when Bishop Connolly (5-1) hit a 83-52 win over Holbrook in the Mayflower Athletic Conference.

In the Boston City League, Nick Festa scored 17 points, while East Boston (3-4) was at the top of Madison Park, 66-57. … Junior Jahiid Allen-Paisley had a triple-double and scored 10 points, handing out 11 assists and grabbing 10 boards, leading New Mission (6-3) to a 59-45 win over Charlestown.

Cam Garber had 16 points and six rebounds to lead Arlington Catholic (5-3) to a tight, 63-62 win over Bishop Fenwick in Catholic Central League action

Mike Manchester’s career-high 21 points brought Hull (6-3) to a 62-46 nonleague win over South Shore Christian. … Omar Shakeel burst out for 22 points for Winchester (6-4) as part of a 65-52 win over Medford. … Earl Tucker scored 24 points when Milton stopped Randolph, 65-62.

Girls basketball

Senior security guard Jamillia Ross dropped 21 points when Blue Hills closed Bristol-Plymouth, 52-36, in the Mayflower Athletic Conference.

Aliza Som collected 19 points, four rebounds and four assists to lead Greater Lowell (5-4) to a 54-34 win over Greater Lawrence in the Commonwealth Athletic Large.

Fiona Mannion gave 35 season-high points and Jordan Bellot added 19 to propel the Latin Academy (5-4) to a Boston City League win at 65-49 Boston United … Janalys Ortiz placed a double-double for Burke ( 7-1 with 14 points and 10 rebounds in a 32-17 win over Excel.

Senior Ellie Hilsabeck scored 18 points with six rebounds, seventh-class Ava Orlando added 13 points and Ava Foley gained 10 boards to lift Notre Dame de Hingham (6-2) to a 49-34 non-league victory over Milton.

Boys hockey

In a confrontation with the Catholic Conference, Ryan Pomposelli struck for his second goal of the match with 17 seconds of overtime to bring Xaverian (6-1-3) to a 2-1 win over the Catholic monument in a match counted as a draw for tournament qualification purposes.

Kirby Glynn had a goal and two assists when Masconomet (8-2) beat North Reading 5-0 in the Cape Ann League play

Belmont (7-1-2) got two goals and an assist from James Demeo and goalkeeper T.J. Mead registered his fourth shutout of the season in a 3-0 nonleague blanking of Watertown.

Shane Brait (goal, three assists), Griffin Mudge (goal, three assists) and Matt Mullaney (two goals, two assists) all had 4-point nights, while Marshfield (3-3-2) returned to the winning circuit with an 8 -3 victory over Pembroke.

Girls hockey

Maura McIver registered a hat trick to bring Sandwich to a 4-1 win over Martha’s Vineyard in the Cape and Islands League.

Freshman Olivia Maffeo achieved her 11th goal of the season and gave Canton (9-0-1) a 1-0 win over Dedham in non-league action.
