Jon Jones Arrests for DWI and Gun Charge In New Mexico

The superstar of the UFC Jon Jones arrested for DWI and a gun charge in New Mexico Thursday morning, TMZ Sports testified.

Police say they responded to reports of a gunshot wound in Albuquerque around 1pm – and when they arrived on the scene, they found Jones inside a 2019 Jeep with the engine running. and the car in the park.

Jon denies firing a gun – but officials say he was intoxicated (blood, blood, eyes and reeked of booze) and conducted a blood test, which he bombed.

He also took a breath, twice, and registered the legal limit on two occasions.

During a subsequent search of the car, police said they found a black handle and a half empty bottle of tequila in the back of the passenger seat.

He was arrested and parked for aggravated driving while intoxicated, recklessly using a deadly weapon and possession of an open blade.

Jones told us he had been booked and released and had a court date of April 9 arraignment.

We are also told of the provision that Jon got in his club club strap case ended January 8th.

Jones was arrested for drunk driving a while ago – in 2012, he pleaded guilty to DUI after crashing his Bentley at a post in upstate New York.

Jonas has spoken publicly about his substance abuse issues – including cocaine – and seems to have won the battle.

Jones is widely regarded as the best MMA fighter of all time – and he is the current UFC light heavyweight champion with star victories such as Dominick Reyes, Daniel Cormier and Rampage Jackson.
