Megadeth started rehearsal sessions as they prepare to go on tour with Five Finger Death Punch and Bad Wolves later this month.
The series of European shows starts on January 20 in Helsinki’s Hartwall Arena, with singer and guitarist Dave Mustaine, bassist David Ellefson, guitarist Kiko Loureiro and drummer Dirk Verbeuren who post a series of images on Facebook as they prepare for the 20-date run.
The photos are accompanied by the caption: “Day one of rehearsals. We come for you, Europe! “
Speaking about the tour earlier, Mustaine said: “Afterwards it is always 20-20, but afterwards it is still a bit blurry. Looking ahead, you will run into problems if you don’t come across us with Five Finger Death Punch in early 2020. You want don’t miss it. See you soon! “
Mustaine underwent throat cancer surgery last year and reported in September to say he was about to complete his final round of medical treatment.
He missed Megadeth’s inaugural Mega Cruise, but said last month that he was excited to hit the road again.
