A Mount Health Department representative would not confirm Kelly’s death, citing patients’ privacy policy.

In a statement released in a statement, “The crisis is not over and it has already devastated hundreds of families in New York and put our medical professionals in the forefront.” “Today, we lost another hero – a compassionate colleague, a friend and a self-centered caregiver.”

Kelly’s sister, Mary Sherron, told the New York Post that her brother had informed her about her illness almost 10 days ago. “He told me he had coronavirus,” she said. “He was in the ICU but he thought he was fine. He didn’t think it was as heavy as it was.”

Sherron says Kelly has asthma but she is not healthy.
