It’s December 26, and the world embarks on another journey into Joe Goldberg’s twisted mind (Penn Badgley). But according to a surprising source, it won’t be the last. The deadline states that the third season of the Netflix series seems likely after the state of California gives you a $ 7.213 million tax credit. The output explains that while a tax credit “does not guarantee renewal”, “it can help secure one” because it favors a number in financial terms. “Below everything we know about a potential third installment so far.
What are the chances for season 3?
The show was among the 16 series to be funded, by term, including season 2 Euphoria, HBO Max’s upcoming spinoff Grease: Rydell High and Impeachment: American Crime Story, which will play Clive Owens as Bill Clinton.
The deadline states that while a tax credit is not a complete guarantee that you are approaching, history proves that it is an incentive to renew. As a last example, the outlet shows FX snow. This series was renewed five months after receiving a $ 8.83 million tax credit in 2017.
While Netflix usually waits at least a month after the start of the new season before announcing the next, a fan base is obvious to you. In January, a few weeks after you first hit Netflix after your original Lifetime run, the company made a rare move. Who is involved?
While the third season is still completely hypothetical, the fate of casting the second season is just as noticeable (considering Joe’s serial killer instincts and everyone). Many cast members joined Badgley for the second season center around their new destination Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), including James Scully as Love Brother, Jenny Ortega as Los Angeles con artist, Charlie Barnett as Love’s best friend, and Magda Apanowicz as Joe’s wife past. What will it be about?
The third season would be more unpredictable than the previous two, which were based on Caroline Kepnes’ novel of the same name and its sequel Hidden Bodies. However, another novel in the series is not entirely ruled out. Three years ago, Kepnes answered fans’ questions about the third book on Goodreads and said, “In the end, you’ll get even more Joe.”
A series of co-creator and executive producer Sera Gamble also considered what season 3 would look like. She said Cosmo U.K., “Absolutely it could return for season 3,” she added: “First, it depends on the forces that are. We hope a lot of people will watch the show and continue. ”
Gamble added, “I say we have an idea for season 3 that is so exciting that people talk about it every day in the (writer’s) room. So my fingers are crossed … I just say, I hope we get the chance to continue the show. “
When will it be released?
Since the second season is not yet on the air, there is no official date for season 3. However, new episodes of the first season aired from September to October 2018 on Lifetime and the second season today dropped on Netflix, so the third season could fall or winter 2020.
