TAMPA, Florida (WFLA) – Fast food lovers will soon be able to get Shake Shack in Tampa.
The coveted burger chain on the east coast opens a 3,200 square meter location in Tampa’s new Midtown district.
“Shake Shack is an icon of global renown and another market-leading restaurant that we are happy to bring to Tampa,” said Nicholas Haines, CEO of Bromley Companies. “We followed Shake Shack from its first location next to our office in Madison Square Park, New York, and we value the joy and attraction it has for its customers.”
Shake Shock operates 170 locations worldwide, including restaurants in Sarasota and Orlando.
The restaurant is known for its smashed burgers and crispy and golden yellow fries. The menu includes wine and beer, also from local breweries.
Shake Shack is located at Midtown’s main entrance on Cypress Street.
The $ 500 million development will encompass a total of 220,000 square meters of retail experience, including restaurants and spaces for outdoor and leisure activities, as well as for programmed events.
